TO ALL OF THE ANONYMOUS HATERS

I've been getting a handful of anti-Showbizzers coming around lately. Of course they ALL leave anonymous responses. Not one has a set of huevos to at least leave an entertaining psuedonym.

Come on, kids. If you're gonna abuse me, at least PRETEND to be someone interesting or unique, someone with a point-of-view, someone with something to say.

But instead I get the odd sackless snarker who stumbled across my booze-fueled rantings from the links page at http://www.pusanweb.com.  Some haircut who impulsively clicked on me between the "serious studies" of the many in-depth Korean-expat culture blogs that enlighten us on the many goings on here on the Peninsula. I'm surprised that they could even find the time, given how gripping the banter usually is on the aforementioned forums.   I can never tear myself away.  Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....

Whahhhhhhhha??

Hey? Umgggggggg?

Where was I?

I've never erased a comment here at Showbiz Central.  Not a one.   I never will. I've only deleted myself, the next day, out of guilt, shame, embarassment, or regret. I welcome the hate. Abuse away.  I'm endlessly amused by bloggers who bedwet over one hate snipe ("He said something nasty *sniff* so  I DELETED him!)  But just know that you gotta be good around these parts, and only those who make themselves known will ever get any respect.  The rest are chumps, and you know it. The only reason you comment  anonymously is because you know you can't back up your shit, that you can't keep up, that you're completely and utterly out of your league.

What are you afraid of?  Am I some kind of tough guy?

Or don't ya got the words?

GOOD MORNING

You know, the FOO FIGHTER'S new album is terrific. A friend of mine gave it to me when I was recently home, and it' been burning up the stereo ever since.

I've always liked the band, but never really got into them properly. But they play great rock and roll that gets down to business and at the same time manages to be both anthemic and strangely positive.

Of course Nirvana never achieved greatness until Dave Grohl joined the band...
